Between fame and love for her grandchild, between her ideals and the lies of Stalin's brutal regime.
A powerful historical drama based on the true story of renowned actress Maria Leiko. In 1937, Maria travels to Stalin's Russia upon learning of her newborn granddaughter, only to face the brutal reality of the KGB’s oppressive grip.
