All films in the festival are in the original language with subtitles.
All films have English subtitles. We apologize if some of the film trailers are not subtitled.
The film passes (with the exception of Soviet Jeans) are available for purchase and should be started to watch until midnight West Coast Time, on March 18, 2024. Soviet Jeans can be purchased and will be streaming until March 30, 2024.
There are many different ways to cast from varying devices to varying types of big screens. Here are some general instructions:
Smart TV: If you have a Smart TV, use a web browser app to access the festival website using the festival's URL.
Screen Cast: If you have an Apple TV, Chromecast, or a smart TV enabled with AirPlay or Chromecast, set your computer, mobile device or browser to “AirPlay” or “Screen Mirroring” or “cast” to the TV device.
HDMI: You can also directly connect a laptop or computer using an HDMI cable by doing the following:
• Make sure your computer is close enough to your Television for the HDMI cable to reach between them safely.
• Connect one end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI port on the TV. Take note of the HDMI input number it is being connected to.
• Plug the other end of the cable into your laptop's HDMI out port.
• Set the TV to the HDMI Input port that the computer is connected to using the source or display button on your TV remote. (Note: **If your computer's display does not automatically appear on your television screen, you may need to have the computer manually detect the display.)
You can test your device(s) for compatibility with our platform by:
• Watching a trailer from one of the purchased films.
Open up a web browser on your smart TV and enter your festival URL.
Our site uses adaptive bit-rate streaming to deliver the highest quality media that your internet connection and device can handle. Optimally, you'll see a high-definition picture up to 1080p with stereo audio. While you're streaming, we'll monitor your bandwidth to make certain you're getting the best stream possible - if your connection and/or device require, we'll adapt and send an appropriate stream to optimize your viewing experience.
Following the purchase of the film bundle, customers are directed to a dedicated film page where they will see a "Play" button. Upon pressing this button, a prompt similar to the one provided below will appear. After selecting "Continue," they gain instant access to the film, utilizing one of their allotted uses from the multi-film bundle pass.
Pass for Soviet Jeans can be purchased and will be streaming until March 30, 2024.
You can find your ticket under "My purchases" in the upper right corner of the website.
After a customer purchases the film bundle, they can go to a specific film page and there will be a "Play" button. If they press that button, they will receive a prompt like this. Once they press "Continue" they will have access to the film and use up one use of the multi-film bundle pass.
